Lord of the Flies

She has this info in her novel about George Orwell and Lord of the Flies. Why? Because if you don't know your history it's bound to repeat it's self again:

When there are no consequences it becomes mayhem as seen in the original British black and white film made in 1963 called (Lord of the Flies). Then updated later in 1990 and made in America, in colour. The black and white version was more like the book. It was based from a classic novel by William Golding. Schoolboys become stranded on a remote island after their plane crashes in the middle of the ocean. No adults and how will they survive? It’s terrifying to think they are all alone and learn they have to carry on. They build a camp and one chubby kid with glasses has a conscience and doesn’t like this other boy’s demeanour. He’s a mean smart aleck and puts this chubby kid down, by calling him names, with negative words. This cause friction and can see where this is leading, splitting them into two to separate camps. Violence soon erupts and there is killing, learning there’s a thin line between society and savagery when there is no law and order or rules to abide by.
